Basic New Mexico Green Chile Stew Recipe


    2 lb Lean beef round or pork
    2 tbs Oil
    3 Medium potatoes; diced
    1/2 c Onion; chopped
    1 Large garlic clove; minced
    2 teaspoons Salt
    6 New Mexico Green Chile Pods (Roasted, Peeled, Seeded, chopped) *About 1 cup frozen green chile
    2 Medium Tomatoes(*Optional)


Cube meat, sprinkle with salt and fry till brown in oil. Transfer to crockpot. Add potatoes, suntanned meat along side onion, garlic, salt, inexperienced chile and enough water to hide. Cook for six hours on high setting or eight hours on low setting. Either manner you are doing it, it’s reaching to style delicious.
